滅びゆくマイナー言語の保存に取り組む非営利団体を紹介した記事。

Experts say there are about 6,500 languages spoken throughout the world. But the United Nations estimates that about half of these languages are in danger of disappearing.（専門家によれば、世界全体で話されている言語は約6,500存在する。しかし国連の推計では、こうした言語の約半分が消滅の危機にある。）

One non-profit organization seeking to save world languages is a New York-based group called Wikitongues. タイの王女が首相選に立候補しようとしたが、結局取り止めになった話の記事。
